PHILANTHROPY
At Ripe, we believe that it is important to give back to our community and share our passion for healthy eating with other parents. Last year, owner Angela Salehi volunteered her time and taught a seminar through the YMCA entitled, "Cooking For Your Toddler" at the Nanook Child Care Centre. This two hour class went through the grocery selection, meal preparation, cooking techniques and food safe clean up of three healthy kid friendly meals. The Nanook Centre has since introduced Ripe's original recipes into its monthly meal rotation.
